These haunting words seemed to dissolve in the crowded city of La Joyita.
He was Milo, a shadow, a ghost ignored by the throats of people who passed by daily. Milo’s condition was beyond dire. No words could describe what he was enduring. An animal rescuer came and brought him home. He curled himself on the box. From his body radiated long-term suffering. No love, no care. He was alone, fighting for food and finding a place to live. His eyes couldn’t even open; there was so much mucus in them. How painful it was!
